Community Development

Modern Apprenticeship

What's Community Development like?

Community development is an approach to achieving social change. You can help those suffering from disadvantage and social injustice and improve the lives of vulnerable people in our communities. If you're looking for regular training and growth in a diverse sector, this is the apprenticeship for you.

Help individuals, families or whole communities to address inequalities and have their say. You might:

  • help homeless teenagers find accommodation

  • help students with physical or behavioural support needs

  • raise public awareness on issues relevant to the community

There's a wide range of jobs available to you upon completion of this apprenticeship with plenty of scope for progression.
