Scottish Apprenticeship Week brings fantastic opportunities for school pupils. It’s a chance to explain work-based learning, and how apprenticeships are Made for Business to provide them with the right skills to thrive.

In this webinar recording, parents explain how an apprenticeship benefited their child. A careers adviser highlights the help given to find an apprenticeship. A learning provider also explains how they support apprentices with additional needs to achieve. The video lasts about 1 hour.

Each year, hundreds of employers, learning providers, regional DYW groups and other partners support Scottish Apprenticeship Week.

National Apprenticeship Show Scotland
Tuesday 4 March 10:00am to 2.30pm, and Wednesday 5 March 10:00am to 2:00pm, Scottish Event Campus (SEC) in Glasgow
Skills Development Scotland will be at this free event, which is open to all school pupils in Scotland.
Find out about Scottish Apprenticeships, where to find the latest vacancies and talk to someone to get advice on next steps to take an apprenticeship.
Lots of other employers will be there to talk about their apprenticeship opportunities.
The organiser offers a travel bursary scheme for students in S3, S4, S5 and S6 from schools and colleges on a first-come, first-served basis. Visit the event website to register group visits.
